Pravee Kruachottikul, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering and a faculty member at the Integrated Innovation and Digital Technology Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, where he oversees the Digital Health Program and manages activities related to Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Healthcare. Complementing his academic leadership, his research focuses on Technology Innovation Management, National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) for High-Valued Health Products, and the Application of AI and Emerging Technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Dr. Pravee brings a wealth of cross-functional expertise spanning academia, engineering, and tech entrepreneurship, boasting a strong, hands-on track record as a co-founder, operator, researcher, manager, and advisor. Holding a Ph.D. in Innovation, alongside Master's degrees in Engineering and Management, he is deeply passionate about translational research with a distinguished, operations-savvy managerial background. Throughout his professional career, he has navigated the complexities of various venture journeys, particularly in early-stage development, at both the individual and organizational levels. Having co-founded an automation startup over a decade ago, he is driven to find effective approaches to accelerate the transformation of ideas into sustainable technological solutions for solving real-world problems.

Transitioning from a business background into academia, Dr. Pravee initially served as the head of Chulalongkorn University’s University Technology Center (UTC), an initiative aimed at accelerating the translation of deep-tech research into socio-economic impact, with a vertical focus on AI, MedTech, and Biotech. Subsequently, he joined the Chula Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (CMICe). During his tenure, he was responsible for identifying promising research projects, overseeing the technology transfer process, conducting due diligence, coordinating clinical trials, managing business negotiations, leading fundraising efforts, and incubating projects through a systematic innovation approach. His work across various industrial sectors has led to the successful commercialization of multiple deep technologies.

Ultimately, these experiences have established Dr. Pravee as a vital bridge between academia and industry. Today, he leverages this extensive background to close the critical gap between research discovery and commercial viability, remaining passionate in his mission to foster deep-tech ecosystems and drive meaningful socio-economic impact for society.
